Michael Siegel is a Managing Director in in Houlihan Lokey's Atlanta
Office, where he is a member of the firm’s Financial Advisory
providing transaction advisory services in all stages of the transaction
lifecycle, including buyside and sellside due diligence, negotiation
support, valuation analysis, structuring and purchase price
adjustments. He has consulted with multinational corporate and
private equity clients concerning the U.S. tax and transaction
matters. Mr. Siegel has developed and reviewed worldwide tax
planning strategies for large U.S. and foreign multinationals. He has
written numerous articles on international structuring and investment
and has been published in Tax Notes International, Journal of
International Taxation, International Business, Global Finance and
International Tax News. He is also a frequent speaker at various
conferences.
Prior to joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Siegel served as a partner in
Ernst & Young’s transaction advisory services group and led its
Southeast region transaction tax services practice. Mr. Siegel is a
graduate of the University of Georgia School of Law and the Terry
School of Business. He is a member of the State Bar of Georgia ,
the American Bar Association (Section of Taxation), the American
Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Georgia Society of
Certified Public Accountants. He is registered with FINRA
(formerly the NASD) as a General Securities Representative (Series
7 and 63).
